TOP TIPS & FAQ's
Below are some answers to the most commonly asked questions and some of our Top Tips for a great day out at Combat Paintball!
TOP TIP #1 - What to wear and bring
We recommend you dress as if you are going for a walk in the woods. Trainers are fine but can get dirty so don’t wear your best pair! We provide full Camouflage Overalls for Paintballing only. Gloves are a good idea and can be bought on the day if you forget your own.
TOP TIP #2 - Is it Safe?
Our insurers tell us Paintballing is a lower risk to insure than Golf! And add onto that here at Combat Paintball safety is our highest priority so you are in safe hands 😉. We have all the latest safety equipment and have a no-nonsense approach to safety. Players under 11 also have full head helmets and body armor as standard. All our Staff are highly trained and aged 18+.
TOP TIP #3 How many balls?
We often get asked “How many Paintballs will I need?”. Everyone plays Paintballing differently and will use different amounts depending on how ‘Trigger Happy’ they are. However our guide is between 400 and 800 for a Half-Day and 500 and 1000 for a Full-Day.
TOP TIP #4 - Food & Drink
Food and Drink is available to purchase on site but unlike a lot of venues we do not mind if you prefer to bring your own.
We offer a wide range of hot and cold drinks, snacks as well as freshly prepared hot food which can all be purchased on the day. Burgers, Hotdogs and Jacket Potatoes are £4 each, Chips are £3 and you can have a Burger & Chips or Hot Dog & Chips for £6. Pay in advance for food when you book and we will discount these prices by 50p.
TOP TIP #5 - Does it hurt?
We use the latest 50cal ‘Low Impact’ Paintballs for our whole site which give 60% less impact than the old 68cal Paintballs most Paintball Sites use. Be assured, the 50cal Paintballs are just fun as they travel the same distance and are even more accurate. For any players that are nervous they can use body armour free of charge!
TOP TIP #6 Pyrotechnics
For those of you who are 18+ we offer a full range of PYRO’s including Flash Bangs, Grenades and Smoke! These can be bought on the day and are £7 each, 2 for £12 or 5 for £25. If you can’t shoot them – Blow them UP!
N.B. In extremely dry periods Pyro’s cannot be used due to risk of fire.
